Information we receive
- Account information such as email address, display name, city, country, and authentication records.
- Subscription and billing status. Payment-card details are handled by Stripe and are not intended to be stored directly by Chartrend.
- Product usage information such as selected markets, monitoring preferences, saved research snapshots, notices, and feature interactions.
- Technical information such as browser type, device information, IP-derived country, cookies, request logs, and security events.
- Messages sent to support or other information a user chooses to provide.
How information is used
- Provide authentication, account access, trials, subscriptions, research features, monitoring, and customer support.
- Secure the service, investigate abuse, diagnose errors, and maintain product reliability.
- Remember language and product preferences and improve the usability of Chartrend.
- Meet legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, and contractual obligations where applicable.
Service providers
Chartrend relies on service providers for hosting, authentication and database services, market data, payment processing, analytics or error monitoring when configured, and customer communications. These providers process information for the functions they supply and may operate in different countries.
Cookies and locale detection
Chartrend uses cookies required for authentication and account security. It also stores a language preference cookie. On a first visit, the service may use a country header supplied by the hosting platform and the browser language to suggest English or Arabic. A saved language choice overrides that initial suggestion.
Retention and deletion
Information is retained for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and satisfy applicable obligations. Users may contact support to request access, correction, or deletion of account information, subject to records that must be retained or information that cannot reasonably be separated from security and transaction logs.
Security and limitations
Chartrend uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to a web software service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, and users should use a strong password and protect access to their email and account.
Children
Chartrend is not designed for children. A person who is not legally able to enter into a subscription agreement should not create a paid account without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
